Are you a fan of salad dressings? Well, fan or not, you NEED to try this dressing! Especially if you are cooking up anything to do with Mexican food. This Creamy Tomatillo Ranch Dressing is tasty for salads, burritos, nachos, and even paninis!
This dressing is pretty hard to mess up too. So, don’t worry about trying it for yourself. Simply toss all the ingredients into a blender, then puree, chop, beat, grind, or mix to your heart’s content. Or at least until smooth.
Then I always give it a try. Based on what I taste I make adjustments by adding ingredients if needed. Usually I end up adding in more cilantro or lime, but that is just me! You adjust based on your taste buds.
Whenever I make this dressing, I always associate it with fun memories of chatting with friends and family. Plus, it usually leaves a good amount leftover (depending on how many people you make it for), so I can always count on something yummy for lunch!
To make storing this dressing easier, I highly recommend these Pyrex bowls because they look good when serving and they stack well in the fridge. I also love this 18-piece Pyrex set because of the ease of storage and cleaning!
This particular recipe is a copycat of Cafe Rio’s house dressing, the creamy tomatillo dressing. It goes perfectly with some sweet pork! If you didn’t catch my Mama’s recipe for Homemade Cafe Rio Sweet Pork Barbacoa, you’re definitely going to want to try it too!
